Welcome to the website of the Willow Run Composite Squadron (Pathfinders), Civil Air Patrol, the Official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force. We are a congressionally charted non-profit organization comprised of both cadets and senior members. We are a varied group from many walks of life all sharing the same desire to learn about Aerospace, support and mentor America’s future leaders through CAP’s Cadet Programs and provide a critical service to our communities and state in the area of Emergency Services.
We hope you enjoy looking around our website and learning about our Squadron and the Civil Air Patrol. We invite you to visit us at one of our weekly meetings. We meet every Tuesday evening at the historic Willow Run Airport, Hanger One, 3rd floor conference room. The Willow Run Composite Squadron has been meeting at this airport for over 50 years which provides great historical context for our Squadron, and also plenty of “Aerospace Ambiance”. Having a CAP aircraft based at Willow Run Airport, our squadron has many credentialed aviators along with a dedicated ground team serving their country in CAP by Performing Missions for America.
During your visit to our squadron, please take time to meet our cadets and seniors and ask about Civil Air Patrol’s three main missions;
► Aerospace Education - Teaching Ordinary Subjects in Extraordinary Ways
► Cadet Programs - Responsible Citizens through Aviation and Leadership
► Emergency Services - Supporting Our Communities in Times of Need
Please—explore our site and discover what our squadron and Civil Air Patrol have to offer. If you are interested in being a member visit our “How to Join” page. If you are not able to join but would like to support our squadron, see our “Sponsors and Supporters” page.
Looking forward to meeting you,
1st Lt. Jeff Wesley
Squadron Commander
